Antonio de Torres

1817-1892

In the year 1864 Antonio de Torres build the FE 17 for his own use.

1869 Tarrega visited the Torres workshop and could manage to buy that guitar.

The sound of this guitar gave Tarrega the inspiration to compose world famous guitar music

during the next 20 years.

Emilio Pujol told, that this instrument was the best guitar he ever heard.

The original instrument has a Cedro neck with a 650mm scale fingerboard, Spruce top and 

Maple back and sides.

At the milestone Luthier Center we build a close to the original version (1A).We offer a 630/ 640 scale fingerboard on request. You have the choice of different exclusive Rosewoods like Madagascar, Santos,Honduras and Ziricote,Maple.

At our more economic A level, we offer this guitar with your choice of Maple, Bocote or Indian Rosewood.All our guitars have a handmade French polish finish.
